Carbon Group is delighted to announce that our Cork facility has secured another new industry approval.
A number of weeks ago, on the request of one of our customers, a Kosher inspection was carried out at Carbon Group in Ringaskiddy. Rabbi Perlman and Rabbi Litke visited the site to confirm the compliance of Isopropyl alcohol bulk storage and repacking processes in relation to Kosher requirements.
Departments involved in the inspection included: Logistics, Production, Quality, Planning & Purchasing and Warehousing.
The Rabbi audit examined aspects of our Quality Management System, documentation and record procedures, quality control, packaging and warehouse procedures and facilities. As a result of the inspection, Carbon Group has been kosher approved for Isopropyl alcohol supply to our customer.
As part of the kosher approval process, Carbon Group may at any time expect unannounced follow-up kosher inspection visits.
